Zune-Sidekick Phone on the Way?

According to Benny Goldman from Gizmodo , Chris Stephenson, GM of Marketing for Zune, mentioned that "they're finding ways to integrate and work with Danger's 250-man staff." Just to refresh your memories, Microsoft bought Danger for $500 million back in February. Could this be the ZunePhone that we've been waiting for? For now, we could only hope.

On another interesting note, there a rumors of a new Sidekick coming out this July, codenamed "Gekko and Aspen." Currently, there's no evidence if Microsoft has had any influence on the development.

I don't think it will be a phone, see Windows Mobile and the numerous partners it will offend if they made their own phone.

I'm more thinking .... Microsoft's answer to the PSP and DS

I always think the same thing, but seeing as microsoft bought Danger (the software maker of the sidekick and not the hardware maker) if they put WinMo on the sidekick and added zune intergration it would just be another software partner.
