The patent is based on "stacking data wheels."  The menu would revolve in a graphical scenario for a more intuitive interface.  We all know the Zune's current 'twist' interface rocks other media players' menus' socks off, but this would rock even more!  While this wheel-of-data scheme is something that has never been done before, leave it to iFans to bend the truth by saying Microsoft is trying to copy Apple's tedious and over-hyped cover-flow system.  I don't know, but you take a look at the following images and tell me if this even comes close to Apple's idea (can they tell an original idea when they see it?).

The integrated gesture support, using the built in camera to detect positional change (like, say, a gyroscope would?), and most everything else however ARE a pretty blatant Apple ripoff. Apple just makes stuff look pretty, but is it more usefull? Why do we have computers? so that we can do more than we could with paper.
