Just recently, Engadget posted an article about the leaked Zune 2 support documents. Gregory was scanning through the documents when he noticed something very interesting. According to the documents, the Zune 2 will support sending text messages, as well as songs and albums. Take a close look here:

You be the judge. Will the newer Zunes have text messaging capabilities?

Update: Sorry folks, looks like the messaging won't be on the actual Zune device, but rather on the software.

The only problem i got with mine is the texting part. I have my zune suited up to support TXT files and send them but you need a touch screen to pick out the letter/character.
