As many of you know, the new Zunes debuted this week with much fanfare from the Zune community. On November 13, 2007, the new Zunes and firmware will be ready for the US release and here's what you can expect!
New Zune ModelsZune will now come in four different sizes. 80GB with a larger 3.2 inch screen, 30GB - the one we've all come to know well, 8GB and 4GB flash memory with a 1.8 inch screen.
New Zune PadThe new Zune models will come complete with a touch-sensitive Zune Pad. It will make scrolling through music easy as a flick of your finger. 30GB models will still retain the original D-pad.
Premium Headphones StandardThe new 80GB Zune models will come standard with Premium headphones making the musical experience with Zune that much better!
New User InterfaceThe new Zune interface will have a new look and feel taking advantage of larger fonts to make navigating through menus a breeze. Current Zune owners will be able to take advangtage of this cool new feature with a simple firmware update. Microsoft has not forgotten about us!
New Zune MarketplaceZune Marketplace will get a completely new look. They've shed the old Windows Media Player look and redesigned it into a breath-takingly nice interface.
Podcast SupportZune will now have podcast support (no that's not an iPod term, it's not affiliated with Apple what so ever - they just do them too). Zune Marketplace will start offering podcasts in November!
Recorded Live TVUsing Windows Media Center on your Vista Home Premium/Ultimate, you will now be able to record live TV and upload it to you Zune. Who needs to pay $1.99 per episode? Zune makes it easy and FREE!
New Video SupportZune will now have MPEG-4 and H.264 native support. No need for Zune Marketplace to convert to WMV! And get a Audio/Video Out attachment, and Zune will display upto DVD quality images!
