No matter what i try it still says that my software is up to date (it's 2.3). Neither zune software nor the setup from zune.net can find new firmware for me. What to do?

I let the zune software update it and I got and error, sending me to the Microsoft site to download the setup manually. After the download finished, it told me I'm up to date(version 2.3)
yea right after the program stopped picking up my zune and the windows uninstaller program sucks i cant uninstall the program because it says populating list and takes forever
Well, the built-in metatagging is a massive and needed improvement. Now if only they would add in support for converting from more formats, since most of my videos are still NOT in WMV.
Another thing I just noticed with the update is while listening to music on your computer if you have the Zune program minimized instead of saying Zune in the Taskbar it cycles the artist, song and album
After downloading the update, it gets to about 2% and has a fatal error with a link to microsofts site. Anyone have any idea what to do? Zune will not update at all. -_-
I love that from watching a TV Show, when you click, you now have the option to see the other episods in the series, and once watched the TV episode goes grey, like a podcast. Also the TV plays gapless, when an episode finishes, it automatically goes to the next. A Lot of video type updates, very needed.

if i click on check for updates, it writes software is up to date, i am from czech republic...can it be the problem ? or can someone please help ? thx u
use winrar to open the exe file and extract the bigger exe in the folder called "packages" run the exe and it'll install, all this does is get around the fancy zune install screen that only causes problems
hey i have a problem here...I recently updated the zune 2.5 software and now the software is not picking up the zune...but the zune itself says it is syncing when i open the software... I tried installing it and reinstalling it and still the same problem.... no connection.....does anyone here have any ideas that could help me out?
I am also getting a problem with the new software update. The error says Setup must stop because the required package 'Zune' didn't install. Fatal error during installation.
Well, I have tried everything their support suggested, including extracting, which takes be to the last step at 100%, then fails.

it takes me to the last step at 100%, then fails saying you need to re-run the setup. i've tried everything from system restore to the windows vista installation cd to restarting..any help???
