the issue is not how many its saling but what was he real cost of the zune to sale it first at 249.00 and now in 99.00. does microsoft know that he show us the real profit of the zune. because i dougth it he is loosing money with the discount price. what zuners t4hink

i'm not really a marketing expert, but i think that they may be doing this sale to boost interest in zune before the new launce, or to get rid of their current stock, i don't think they could have used this business model all along and still have money for r&d for the new zune and marketing, etc.

Look at the item, then $99 is from a different shop. On the right, amazon is even cheaper at $89.99 free delivery!

It's 89.99 if you buy from amazon.com, right now if you go to the Brown Zune you aren't buying from amazon, you are buying from some other company because it is sold out for amazon. But I do think you can order one still, but they don't ship till nov 14th i think.

Bought two at $89 (new brownies with free shipping) and first one arrived three days ago. I preloaded the software to the host computer from the Web site and had all my music files tagged and ready for sync. While doing the initial 3-hour charge, I checked for one last software upgrade and found MS already had patched the metadata glitch.

It took about 5 minutes to sync my collection to the Zune via USB cord, and just for fun I added another few songs though the computer-to-Zune wireless link. I'm amazed how easy this was (I'm a first-time Zuner) and I never had to use the disc that came with the unit.

Very happy customer? You bet!
