Moments after MacWorld the other day, and in an interview with CNBC's Jim Goldman, Apple's CEO Steve Jobs openly bashed Zune. More after the break...
Goldman writes: "I told Jobs that I had sat down with
Microsoft's Robbie Bach last week at the Consumer Electronics Show. I
mentioned that Bach was particularly optimistic about the new Zune,
that it was now a worthy alternative to Apple's iPod. Asked Jobs: "Was he inebriated? Do you even know anyone who owns a Zune?"
Touched a nerve, I suppose." What's Steve's deal? What's Zune ever did to you Steve? I know quite a few people with Zunes as a matter of fact! Could Zune be doing better than Jobs' planned? This is obviously unprofessional of Apple's CEO to bash Robbie Bach as well as our beloved Zune. But this isn't the first time Steve's bashed Microsoft. You got any thoughts?
