With Thanksgiving over and everyone back to regular schedules (I know I am....*rolls eyes and sighs*), I thought I'd put together all the news I can find in one spot for everyone to take advantage of. More after you click "read more..."
The New York Times has published a review of the new Zunes and it was pretty favorable. Writer David Pogue does highlight some of the great new features:
Microsoft’s new, second-generation Zune music/photo/video player is a pleasure to use. It fixes a long list of things that made the original Zune such a pathetic wannabe...Confident design steps are evident in all the new models...Microsoft has finally begun to exploit its wireless transmitter in more useful ways...it can now synchronize its music and photos (although not videos) with those on your Windows PC over your wireless home network.
Will someone tell him you CAN sync videos wirelessly? It's a favorable piece on the Zune, although he does take the time point out all the flaws compared to the iPod as well as end it with his own personal opinion.
And can someone else please tell CrunchGear the difference between ZuneArt stuff and actual advertising. Once again a website is confused and we need to get the word out on this.
Are you experiencing any battery issues with the new firmware on your Zune 30? Apparently it's not wide-spread but some think there may be some issues. If you've found this issue, be sure to check HERE. Of course Engadget has reported this which continues speculation of them being Zune haters/iPod lovers.
And as always, randomly check out what Cesar's got for us over at ZuneInsider...he's spilled the beans on some videos HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE as well as other cool info.
Finally, ExtremeTech has given a very favorable review of the new Zune and recommends it as a gift this holiday season!
That's it (for now)!
