Audible is one of the few things I missed when moving from my ipod. I'm very glad I'll soon be able to use my audible books on my zune. Hopefully we'll be able to put audible files into playlists!

My wife listens to audio books. She's going to be pleased about this. I still wish Zune had the ability to designate certain mp3 files as audio books (i.e. ripped audio books from book CDs) so you could bookmark your MP3 audio book. Maybe they'll add that feature when they release the Audible support feature.

I love it. I have about 100 books in my libary on Audible and haven't been able to listen since I went to the Zune. I used to use their cheepo player that they gave for free but that stopped working. I also tried their soft player on my BlackJack but I hate wasting my battery.

I was so disappointed when I realized that the Zune id not support Audible. In fact, I have not made my Zune the primary player given this limitation. I have been a member of Audible for many years and this will allow me to give up caring my Creative Zen xtra.

I'm a true blue Zune fan. But for me, lack of Audible compatibility has been the one glaring weakness in the product since day one. For the past year and a half I've had to carry around two devices: one for music, and one for audio books. I knew they would get around to this eventually, but it has been (in my opinion) way too long in coming. I'm glad it's finally happening.

I love audible but up til now all i could do is convert audiobooks to mp3s and treat them as podcasts (change the genre and put them in the podcast directory), that allowed for resumable play. Hopefully however MS implements audible support will be much better.

I have had a Zune since day one and have hardly ever used it for two primary reasons. First, no Audible support. Second, no sleep timer functionality.

I am excited to see that the Zune will finally be getting Audible support, but for me personally, they need to put a simple sleep timer in there to (you know, like virtually every other device in the world including TV's from the early 80's).

Ya, I have heard the arguments against a sleep timer/clock, such as, "I have a watch" and "That would be a huge battery drain." Well, I can only shake my head. Anyways, WOOHOO for Audible. I use it every night on my (argh!) iPod and in the car among other places. Terry Pratchett FTW!
