One lucky bas...er...guy got his grubby little hands on a piece of what we can all expect on Tuesday!

It's a pretty piece of hardware, but is there a catch?

Ed from Zunerama managed to get his hands on a black 8Gb Zune before the Nov. 13th release date!

There's one catch.  IT WON'T WORK UNTIL NOV.13TH.  Clever for Microsoft to do this.  Apparently whenever Ed tries to select a menu option, it says go to www.zune.net/setup.  They're bricks until Tuesday he says....

In any event, he's the lucky one to get his 15 seconds of fame for being the first to get one!  Lucky Bast...!  lol

Can you tell I'm a little jealous?  But I'm glad, 'cause I tried to buy a new zune too and that woulda sucked if I had gotten it and it was a brick...

vote4pedro1090   | 76.185.37.xxx | 2007-11-11 17:02:33 i saw and got to hold the box of 2 black 8gig zunes yesterday at the circuit city where i work. but when my boss saw that someone had put them in the case (a warehouse guy) he made us put them back in the sales manager office. i really want an 80gig. and its really easy to not give them the software.. like the user above me said, iPoods do the exact same thing. If someone doesnt have internet then they are gonna miss out on most of the Zune's features anyways... podcasts, album art, zune social, zune marketplace... im sure there's more. Reply | Quote 0   0
