i just did it and it said access denied the first time. so the second time i tried it i right clicked it and put RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR-i have vista. then it ran successfully. this is great it looks awesome!

You tried accessing ZuneBoards and it said your access is denied? Try clicking the link again. You should be allowed to view it, but if not try registering in our forums and then checking....

Only question I have (would put it in the forums but it's locked) is what size does the pic have to be? I've tried a few and it morphs them oddly (Stretches them out in the middle, not the whole pic). I got one to work at 800 by 600 though, but is that the only size?

Same here, just right click the file and select "run as administrator" worked like a charm for me.

great hack, i made some backgrounds people can use if they wish.
check the graphic section, Custom Zune Background Hack!

Dark colour don't work as well, until we can change the font colours for better contrast, the lighter the colours the better.

Also use random shapes, that works best because the images will be scaled and it's not as abovious.

I made my images 1280x1024, so u can use them as your pc background as well.

make sure zune is not running in the background, press (Ctrl Delete) look under process, if it is kill it. or go to run type mscomfig look if it's in your startup, if it is kill it and reatsrt the try the hack after winddows as started. good luck

make sure you put the extension of the image when u point to the loacation (.jpg)

ok so i tryied doing this hack i got the program to install and show up on the software when i try to put a picture as my background it goes to the 'phyta' one even thoo the custom one is highlioted

If you're running Vista after you copy the file to the C

rogram FilesZune folder and are ready to run it, make sure you right-mouse-click on the program and select "Run as Administrator" that should eliminate the "Access is Denied" error and allow you to run the program.
