No doubt you've heard the insane news about this guy wanting to legally change his name to Microsoft Zune . Gizmodo has put this under its 'Gigantic Mistakes' section while Engadget is simply shaking its head. But what you may not know is this isn't all too uncommon. While Mr. Microsoft Zune may have his 15 seconds of glory (which has already past), there are a number of freak stories of people naming their children or themselves after their beloved products, mission statements, heroes, or what ever their over-active imaginations could come up with.
How about naming your child Vista after Micorsoft newest operating system?
Or naming your kid Version 2.0 ?
What about changing your name to Optimus Prime ?
Or Megatron ?
How 'bout Jesus Christ ?
Or KentuckyFriedCruelty.com ?
Would you want to be called Variable ?
What about PlayStation2 ?
Or They ?
Some people, it may seem, just have too much time on their hands!
And apparently, changing one's name is as easy as 1-2-3 ! BTW - ZuneBoardds does not condone the act of changing one's name no matter how much of a fanatic you are...
