A new
Entertainment Xbox 360 is reported to be in the works. Toshiba and
Microsoft are teaming up to integrate some new features that some think
should have already been incorporated in existing Xbox’s.

The new Xbox will have: - -A Built in HD-DVD silent drive
- -Built in wireless capabilities
- -Built in HDTV tuner
- -A port to connect MP3 players – probably Zune compatible
- -Expanded memory capacity
The new Xbox is not slated to be available until late 2008 or
early 2009, but speculation is already mounting how this could give added
functionality to Zune, and maybe what we could see from a Zune 3.0. How cool would it be if you could record HDTV
and then sync it to your Zune to take with you!
Also, could this mean the next generation of Zune have HD imaging (since
2009 is when everything is going HD/digital).
Maybe HD digital radio in the Zune?
Definitely looks promising, and this would make sense from a recent
agreement between the 2 companies…
