awesome!! i've always wanted last.fm with my zune software. is there going to be an "unpatcher" anytime?

Even if this software doesnt add very many things to the zune software, It still is pretty cool seeing as WMP11 is much better than the zune software........wait.....what isnt better than the zune software?

i didn't mean to suggest that it wasn't better. i was just curious what new functionality is present. for example, does this make the zune software as fast as wmp 11? i mean, this is still the zune software, right? it's not actually wmp 11. so what exactly do we gain by this?
don't get me wrong, i think this is an awesome hack. even if all it did was allow us to change skins, that would be great. i mod most everything i have, so i love the fact that this allows us to apply wmp skins. i'm just curious if it gives us everything else that wmp has (the answer to which is, obviously, "no"), and, if not, exactly what is excluded. but this is great work.

In the future, it may support WMP plugins. As of now, it's just the looks, and the really cool color changer

Well, this doesn't add much functionality to the Zune program (if fact, at this point, it only adds the color changer). This is, though, a very cool hack and at the very least should be treated as a totally cool zSkin.

An unpatcher should be released soon (I'll start working on it right now). I still don't understand why people always ask if there is a way to undo the hacks as soon as we release them...

Also, please don't say stuff like "Well, this is no Zune Linux." Getting Linux onto the Zune is a lot harder than you think. In fact, it is a miracle that we have been able to mod this program as much as we have. Just bear with us and try to appreciate the stuff we have out now. Acting like we don't do anything doesn't really give us a reason to continue trying, does it?

i got a question. so with this new hack. do we have to patch the zuneloc.dll twice? for the zmp and the no guest sync. will the two softwares conflict with eachother. patching the .dll file?

Finally something that will not crash! Take your time guys, we really want this to be as stable as WMP itself..

By the way: Make it work with Vista and it will look really neat as Vista has clear borders on the bottom. Thanks guys for helping us out, and good luck with the project.

It looks great, but I wish we could sync our Zunes with WMP 11 seeing as no amount of amazingly cool looking skins will change the fact that Zune software is NOT windows media player.

I run windows vista... I did the hack. And now my zune program looks weird. Is there a way to unpatch the hack?

yes, goto c:\program files\zune
and delete zunelock.dll and rename zunelocbackup.dll to zuneloc.dll
