About Zune in Canada….

here’s rumors on the rise about an impending Canadian release of the Zune, and not just the Zune 30. A couple of sites around the net are already piecing together some of the information. Information that is pointing firmly to a Zune unveiling in the Spring of 2008!

Stephane Dion of ClicZune.com has made some interesting observations of the new Zunes. One in particular is the product guide included with them. The new guides involve direct information to Canadian Customers complete with warranty and compliance to Canadian Regulations.

Also, an entire section is in French. The last time I checked, the Zune’s not heading to France anytime soon, but Canada, with a significant population of French-speakers, would be a logical reason for this inclusion.

zune v2 accessoriesAnd visit your Zune accessories section of any local electronics store and see the Zune packages dispaying both English and French (the black boxes or v2 only) - furthering speculation a Canadian Zune release is iminent.

Also, Jason Dunn of ZuneThoughts.com had an interesting comment on one of his videos he put up on youtube . Apparently a Microsoft employee said the Zune will be released in the Spring of 2008. Dunn did some personal investigation and it seems there is evidence this could be in deed true!
