Zune vs. iPod Specs

And yes, some of you may have noticed this was up earlier, but I found my numbers weren’t right….grrr….REDO!

What these numbers don't show is the amazing difference the new Zune Marketplace will have. From initial looks, it rocks iTunes socks off! And from the video I posted, it looks like Zune Social beta will be tied into your Zune Marketplace. You won't have to open a browser window to access it. The two are married and switching from downloading a song to telling your buddy 'bout it will be a breeze....this IS the social Zune was made to be....

David I eat babies	this reminds me of that little chart sony released saying how much better the ps3 was than the xbox360.

Technically speaking, the PS3 is better in many ways than the Xbox 360, but what Xbox has over the PlayStation is games.

I think the same can be said of the Zune, except in this case, the iPood has had more time on the market and many people are brainwashed already. Zune is putting forth some great stuff with this new update/hardware.

It's a big up-hill battle, but I think this next year, Zune will be turning more heads away from that huge iPood god....

willyballer	the 3.2 in. screen is nice. but i wish they increased the resolution. Images will be much more clear on ipod classic. It looks like the zune wins in every other aspect though, except battery life.

Acutally, details are still not concrete right now, but I just learned today that the new Zune will support up to 640x480 resolution. Is that good enough for you? Source: http://www.zuneinsider.com

David I eat babies	I think what they're gunna do is make it so the zune can display a picture at that higher resolution... and you can add a video at that resolution. But the video will only play at the lower res... I think... dunno

ACE	Yeah, that's exactly what the info coming out now shows...It's reported that the Zune will output DVD quality video, but display 340x240. It's still to be seen if the Zune 30 will be able to do it though ...

SmartedPanda`	I like the 2nd gen Nano better than current and zune 4/8. =\ It feels like a pen in your pocket haha. Damn, the controls looks better on the iPod but the screen on the Zune looks better then the iPod.

Damn, the controls looks better on the iPod but the screen on the Zune looks better then the iPod.

the fatPods (4/8 gig nanos) are so thin.. i sell them at my job, and i have to sell the warranty on them because they break so easily... i like the zune all around. actually i might have converted my picky teacher to the new Zune.
