New Zune marketing at Circuit City

I was at CC today getting a car stereo and passed by the Zune display. They has taken out the old display and had a blank white plexiglass board in its place. Beside it they had a little literature holder with some little handouts.

The booklet is an accordian fold with stiff paper front and back. The front and back look like a Zune 4 and it’s probably about actual size. On one side they talk about the Zune models and on the other side they talk about the accessories.

Nothing overly exciting, but the dock is redesigned, the AV cables might be different (I’ve never seen them) and the car pack looks different.

Nice little bit of marketing. If they can get it into peoples hands. I actually mentioned I had a Zune to two sales associates and didn’t get any attitude. Progress must be being made.

speaking of progress, I saw zunes being referenced in a myspace survey the other day... first time I ever saw a zune on myspace.

Dizzy Joe the Plumber	Saw the same thing at Target yesterday. Picked one up and carried it around with me all day today. Not sure why though. It's got some great info on it. Liked how it looked like a 4/8 gig one too, even down to the "Hello from Seattle!"

Kirby!	i hate circutcity i just got hired at bestbuy CC atleast where i live is run terribly on top of that the first question my boss asked me was "Are you white?" i said yes and she says "I had a bad experience with you guys" Didnt stay long thx

theecigarman	I saw the box for the new displays yesterday @ CC two days ago and peeked, Couldn't see much, but they are using cutouts for display models. It was actually pretty cool to see.
