[SOLVED] MASSIVE slowdown after ZuneTV introduction

Is it just me or is the whole site REALLY slow now. It took 2 minutes to load the New Thread page. It is taking 2+ min to do what took 15 sec earlier today.

This wasn't because of ZuneTV, this was because LPX sent out a newsletter to every member (all 50,000 of them).

It is still slow I admit, but that should be solved with a reboot

ok. a sudden flood of 50K makes the slowdown make sense. and stop changing your name Nurta.

Good, we just rebooted and it is going a little faster, but still a little slow, but meh.
