Both the FLV and the WMV. Is it the FLV same as youtube or what? How about the wmv, what codecs and bitrate does it use?

You can upload a video of any bitrate, zTV will convert it to both FLV and WMV. The WMV uses WMV8,320 x 240,1.02 Mbps.

Thanks...

What happens if you upload a 16:9 native 320x180 videos, will it be stretched to 320x240?

What about the audio for the WMV? WMA 10 professional? WMA 9? Bitrate?

All that really matters is that the WMV downloads are formatted perfectly for the Zune, no conversion needed. I have no clue if it'll stretch videos. Windows Media Audio V8.

I just wanted to know the specs for the video and i'm too lazy know download a video then check the specs with a program. Since the staff was beta testers for zuneTV, they might know it.

The specs were giving us a really hard time a few months ago, and delayed the development for weeks.

The exact command line used to convert the videos into wmv is:

exec($config['mencoder']." ".$source_file." -vf scale=320:240 -oac lavc -ovc lavc -of lavf -lavfopts format=wmv -lavcopts vcodec=wmv2:acodec=wmav2 -o ".$desination_file, $aOutput, $sReturn);

(WM 8)

If what Greg said was true, If you ever run out of space you can convert all the videos to

WMV9 450-500kbit/s and WMA 10 Professional 64kbit/s. The A/V quality will be as good if not better than 1.02Mbit/s WMV2 and WMA8 A/V.

According to the command line for Windows Media Encoder that you've posted, any 16:9 videos will be stretched to 4:3, i believe.
