Default [SOLVED] Zunecentive questions

I gave my friend $zb75 to by a zune 30 silicone case to a friend as a reward to make him post on Zuneboards. I broke the rules because I didn't ask permission from the administrator.

"As well, to prevent people from making multiple accounts to earn more ZuneBux we will require that all donations of greater than 10 $zB must have approval from an administrator or global moderator. We will be watching the logs for any unapproved transactions. Failure to abide by these rules will result in an infraction and a fine of no less than 10 $zB plus any $zB gained from the offense. Punishments for not complying with these rules will increase with repeated offenses." -Nurta

When I looked through the "new Regulation thread" i thought giving more than $zb10 was a automatic process which administrator had to "approve" before the money was transfered to another person. Anyhow, i deserved to be infracted and $zb taken away.

However, though this giving process, the person who I gave the $zb to got banned because of this. I did not ask my friend to make another acount so i could con another free zunecentive account. He was banned right after he bought the zunecentive item with the $zb i gave him.

So do you think my friend should be banned because of my own error?

You need to pm LPX about your friend.

What made you think the approval process was automatic?

I thought the approval process was automatic because Nurta said " As well, to prevent people from making multiple accounts to earn more ZuneBux we will require that all donations of greater than 10 $zB must have approval from an administrator or global moderator. We will be watching the logs for any unapproved transactions.".

I thought the $zb donation is like this

1) Donate
2) Admin/global mod approve by looking at the unapproved transactions to see if it's genuine
3) Then the receiver get their donatation

When i was donating, I saw a "reason" box, so I put explained the situation my intention. I thought this process is the "approval" thing and I was waiting for the admin to approve. I didn't know I had to PM an administrator for approval.

I never believe that another should be punished for your mistake, especially if it is unintentional.

You should thoroughly read the rules before doing things as such, ZuneBoards does have to protect against actions like that if you didn't get permission... so I support the "Yes" vote, but no offense to you or your friend

What does my friend learn from getting banned? Not to accept any $zb from me?

I'm the one who should be getting infracted, but I didn't.

My friend should get banned because he took my gifted $zb and bought something.
How would he know that his money were illegally obtained?

The poll is for whether my friend should be banned because i illegally gave him $zb.

What do you mean the same IP?

The internet service provider uses dynamic ip thus the ip changes every time the modem renews its address or the computer restarts.

Well... I can assure that my friend I are two different person. He has probably been on zuneboards on my computer for one or two times, but majority of other times, went on zuneboards using his own computer with different IP.

Reason for editing: The edit button disappeared when i tried to add this to the above post. But now the edit button reappeared after i refreshed the page.
