Default Zunecentive...

I think that the whole Zunecenitive is great and all. But how much can one really look forward to if the remaining prizes

A: Don't accommodate their Zune, (Who has a flash zune?)
B: Have no material value at all (Cake?)
C: Are out of reach (the Zunes)

I think that Zunecentive should at least restock like once every month but put a limit on how many prizes 1 user can obtain per week. If the active users who post every second buy out all the prizes that appeal to noobs and other semi-active members, then the point of Zunecentive is quickly lost as the noobs and semi-active members have nothing to buy in their reach. If the prizes are never to restock then there are no prizes in reach of non-active members to motivate them to post.

The point and effectiveness of the Zunecentive is squandered by the flaw of no restock in sight.

Its not that easy to restock the zunecentive prize list.
But it should get better with time.
Just save up your $zB

If I'm not wrong, doesn't lpx buy all this stuff with his own $$ but at a discounted price from our sponsors? But yeah I totally agree with you an your post makes alot of sense. But theirs nothing we can do, restocks are up too our sponsors and lpx(if I'm not wrong about lpx buying this stuff). Were lucky that the zunecentive program even exists, plus by the way, according to lpx their's going to be restock very soon... But all we can do is wait, and keep being active. Plus as much as I love the thought of getting free stuff , I actually enjoy just posting in the forums and being part of the zb community more, it's fun!!!

I'd like to see you restock it with your own money.

Don't bitch about what I should do just because I made a suggestion that involves spending money. It's a point I'm trying to make to help the improvement of the site so don't suggest what I should do.

Then read the FAQ, we already covered restocking.

Doesn't matter what the FAQ said this is a suggestion for the revision of that general rule of Zunecentive. To me it doesn't make sense to motivate users then drop the idea of motivating users to post because there are no reachable prizes to those members who feel that they cannot waste there lives in a race for the more expensive prizes.

Umm look around the adds on the site must generate some income, those cheaper prizes come at a *discounted* price

I think it is a good idea, but if it is true that LPX pays for the stuff, then it's understandable that he doesn't constantly re-stock because I'm sure he doesn't have tons of money.
And the zunes are in reach. Take a close look at Nathenlawliet, for example.

They are in reach but only to those who are extremely active. A general obvious motive for the Zunecentive is to make people post more. If there are only 2 to 3 people that don't care if they have a life or not, then that = only 2 - 3 active members achieved from the Zunecentive

Lol looks as if your argument/opinion federal, made a big statement and decision for lpx. Because everyone in the forums now, are limited to only one item from zunecentive per month now. Just check the Zunecentive how it works and faqs. To be honest I like the new rule, makes everything more fair. Especially for new members..but yet it kind of sucks that we can't get more than one... oh well.

1. They didn't have to introduce the Zunecentive program at all so I'm thankful for the opprotunity to earn the items I did.

2. You can't blame anyone if you show up to the game late and miss out. I think they made it very clear that it was a first come, first serve type of situation with no promise of getting anything back in stock.

3. There is a limit on prizes, 3 per member, per month.

4. I believe the Zunecentive program was simply a marketing idea to get users to frequent the board and become active on it, hopefully to boost the core membership of the board with the bigger goal being to boost the popularity of the Zune.

While it sucks that the items ran out so quickly, just the fact that we had any there for the taking to begin with is more than every other board I've ever been to can say. This is the only board where I've been able to earn not only prizes, but prizes directly connected to the whole reason this board exists, the Zune, is pretty damn awesome.

While there is no promise of restocking, if you continue posting you can not only learn some things about the Zune but you may build up enough zB$ to buy the items you may want should they be restocked. Gotta be optimistic not pessimistic.

Well no sh*t sherlock, who's going to give out free Zunes for nothing in return?

If you want to start your own forums and and start giving out Zunes for every 100 posts, go ahead. I'm sure you'll find huge success.... until you go bankrupt.
