Mostly because I'm sick of the typical mac fanboy trying to get me to convert with their sayings like "it just works" or "i was typing a paper and half of it just disappeared and i dont have that problem on mac!" CTRL+Z FFS! So I went MS and not Apple.

I asked for it for Christmas. I wanted it because.... I am pretty much anti-apple as well as it presented better value (money) and had more features than other mp3 players.

I wanted to be unique! But also, Ipod is too bland! I don't even think you can
personalize you background on the ipod! I thought the zune software itself looked
better! Also, It frusterated me when I couldn't pick out the song I wanted on the
Ipod spinning wheel on my friends Ipod!

I had a very outdated old mp3 from China. I really wanted a new one, so I did some research. I was considering the iPod nano, but nowadays EVERYONE had a nano. Even the old guy at the pool

. And then I saw the Zune. I had never heard of it, but it looked great. With FM radio and a big screen (great for pictures and vids) , it was the best option. Also, it was different. No one I met had one. It's...simply awesome.

I don't hate the company, I mean they have some pretty good computers. I just don't like how the iPod is always the same through and through. They have a bunch of nice colors, but it's always that same white circle and I'm getting sick of looking at it. I also hated the iPod's interface. It's always that white background with the plain font and same blue highlighting. I never bought an iPod and I think god for that.

The Zune is much more better with more reasonable pricing. It's more comfortable since you don't end up breaking your thumb and the interface is a whole lot better. I'm not crazy about the Microsoft company, but they did a really good job with the Zune. The audio quality, I think, is a lot better, too. The designs are more different and I just love it.

Well first of all i hate apple and i also love microsoft and most of the people i kno have an ipod i wanted to be different so i read up on the Zune and immeadiatly knew i needed one plus i was expecting games since it came out and now there finally here

I had my choice for Christmas. I could either have an iPod or a Zune. I ended up choosing the Zune because so many people already have iPods which as very bland (not very much color). The Zune also had a bigger screen which was very shiny and good for videos. And to top it off I am an anti-Apple person and knew if Microsoft made it, then it's going to have games sooner or later.

the biggest reason for me was compatibility, but to be honest I feel quite exclusive, being one of the first people in the UK with a zune.

the four things that i knew were better
1. 3" screen compared to iPods 2.5"
2. customizable background
3. sharing with other zunes (the ability to brag about this)
4. radio

and of course microsoft offers updates for free... apple makes you get a new iPod for an update

Well, at first I wanted the iPod and then my step-dad saw a Zune 4gb for 130 dollars and they couldn't get it for me due to financial reasons (gas, bills, etc...). So I still had some time to think, then I asked my friend James and he said he liked it wayyyy more because of the bigger screen and the ability to sync your Zune via wifi. So...I just went with the Zune.

I hate the iPods and wanted something I could mod. After a couple weeks of being a proud Zune owner, I can say I am most pleased. It also feels like I'm the only Canadian who has one, which is sorta cool. I know I'm not, but it feels that way.

So pretty much iPods suck and Zunes rock. Thats why!

I've never really cared for apple. When computers first came out my school had apples and i always hated them because the user interface was not very consumer friendly. You had to have a degree to work the things. With microsoft its pretty idiot proof, just read...so when ipods came out i thought....hmm interesting its made by who again? apple, no thats ok theres got to be a better way. when the zune came out i was elated and i thought they looked better plus the screen is bigger. then when the second versions came out (even though i dont have one yet) i thought they looked even sexier. then there was the price you get more space for less money, that was a no brainer. Never had any problems, love the zune, will get another one dont know if it will be a second gen or the third when it comes out. but this doesnt get any better. Oh and i wanted to be different...but with good reason.

At first I wanted an ipod to put rockbox on it but I heard that they were making it for zune. I wanted to play doom on my zune but then sooner than i had expected there were games for the zune. Still no doom but lots and lots of other great games all for free. Unlike the Ipod costing to get games.

I got my Zune because of a few reasons(ok alot);

1. Apple sucks
2. Ipods suck(because of reason one)
3. Microsofts Awsome
4. Theirfore Zune's Awsome
5. Everyone has an ipod and I wanted to be different
6. Same price
7. Big screen
8. Radio(BIG plus)
9. They do all of the same things(and then some)
10. Ipods suck(did i already say that?)

My story: I've never owned anything Apple, but I wanted to. I had fallen to the dark side. I just could never buy one because they were so freakin' expensive! Then I saw players like the Zune that had so much more for a lot less!

I've never been a fan of the ipod for some reason or another and the zune's just attracted me instantly with they're large screens and the album art. I've wanted one for years and two of my friends had one and I was insanely jealous and I finally got mine as a grad. gift Though I have used sansa in the past and in my opinon their the best mp3s for people on a smaller budget, I absolutely adored my Sansa e200 when I had it.
But I both hate and love the fact that for some reason or another no one seems to relize how great they are and sense I hate how HUGE Apple's become and after wanting to kill every Mac computer at my school as a result of glitches and just Argness I just don't like them, I suppose I'll be a microsof and windows gal. ^ ^
And I love the wireless capability of it even if it is small in the growing years Zune's may get better features so I can't wait even if I have to buy a new one. (((Plus the Red one on that internet page called to me so)))
