Love Zune Hate Microsoft...How did that happen?!

So I get the Zune as a Birthday present and it's freakin amazing! Nice graphics, easy to use, and of course it's super sexy Chocolate Brown, but man Microsoft SUCKS!!! Their Zune Social is really overpriced, and the selection for old original punker music is not so great. I mean they have The Misfits and Ramones and such, but nothing less mainstream than that, but whatever, I have CD's. Then I check out the Zune Pass...whoa, total rip off! You lose the songs after a month, or 3 months? WTF? So I pay $46 to listen to the music for three months? So I try to get my music from LimeWire, and it won't accept it at all, I am assuming because Bill Gates and his crazy capitalist cronies must ensure that the Zune is only compatible with the files that they can make money off of so that they can continue to socially stratify the globe. Zune rocks, but Microsoft really does suck!

1. limewire sucks, why aren't you using torrents
2.The Zune Social is not over priced, as it doesn't cost anything.
3. The music selection may not be great, but thats what CD's and torrents are for
4. zune will accept limewire songs. a mp3 is a mp3, zune doesn't know or care where it came from.

Zune pass isn't that bad. I mean $15/month for an unlimited number of songs is pretty good(IMO), but your right on their collection isn't too great, some artists that I like from marketplace aren't downloadable.
Your downloaded songs should work on Zune Software, as long as they're format is compatible.

You can put most any type of MP3 file on your Zune...

Thought, they did pull a bitch move with the WMP format, that can be fixed with some hacks.

I don't really care for the Zune pass.. cause I'm a cheap bastard..

BUT if you buy more than 12 CDs a year its worth it.

limewire does work with the zune. well the songs do. the videos you would have to convert to mp4 format.

There's nothing about files from Limewire that can allow Microsoft to prevent them from playing on your Zune. If they don't work, then they must be some format not compatible with Zune.

. I hope you're joking. I don't like the idea of subscribing to my music, either. That's why I use iTunes.

Guys... all that is so simple. Here, let me make it easy for all of you.

www.torrentpond.com That's a torrent mayor search engine. Has many torrent sites and you can search them all.

While searching in that page, search for this program: Tube Hunter. It can download videos from youtube and other pages like it and it has a video converter very easy to use and works great. You can convert almost every video to Zune MPEG-4 and all done. All you have to do is drag and drop the converted video to the Zune software then sync.

PS: If you think Microsoft sucks, you might laugh with this 2 videos.

Sounds like you shoulda done some research. You could have browsed the online store, or read about how the system works before buying a pass.
