yesterday i watched a podcast, its about 35 minutes (german, quarks&co), i forwarded playing 3 times because there was a boring part, then, my zune freezed :'(
i thought, ok, it just freezes for some minutes now, battery was pretty empty, so i again thought, meh, when the battery is empty its going to shut down and everything is ok, on the screen everything frozes, ok, some hours later battery went empty and the frozen screen disapperared, i connected it to my pc to restart it, usually it boots up when being connected, but not now, nothing happens, i cannot see anything on the screen, please help me and i hope my zune isnt broken :'( also, not even zune software regcogizes it :'( its an 8gb zune, if it matters, "hes" black, also i bought it on ebay because in germany you cannot buy zunes, so i think i cannot send it back :'( also resetting zune by back and press down/up screen stays black Last edited by Namronia : 05-18-2008 at 05:58 AM. |

This could be a dead battery issue. I had a similar thing happen to my 80gb zune. It had been left plugged into a bad USB drive and the battery somehow got drained completely.
I plugged it into the computer and it wasn't even recognized at all. I was a little freaked out. I used a Zune USB Wall charger and plugged my Zune into it. After a short while I could see a faded low battery symbol. I would suggest trying this and letting it charge for a while. ![]() ![]() |
