Ebony and Ivory!

Well, I'm kinda new.. but I think my status gives me the liberty of telling my story
...No matter how cliche is sounds.

And how bad I am at telling stories.

Well, I middle school I had a friend.. he was cool, wacky, off-beat like I am.

We where pretty close during school, our friendship never really went outside the campus cause we didn't have cars and he lived in the "Heights" and I live in "Mid-Town" at the time.

When High school came.. we kinda drifted apart, we greeted each other in the halls from time to time. Not really much more than that.

We fell into different socail circles that rarely overlapped.

This is my senior year in high school, and I got badgered to start coming to the schools basketball games. Before I only went to the Football games because the basketball games where during the school week and the team was kinda sucky... But we were pretty decent this year, so I attended more.

One game, I'm sitting in the student section... it was halftime so I decided to tinker with my Zune and noticed that someone was around with the lil socail wifi thingie...

This was like the first time I had ever picked up a signal from someone, I thought I was the only one in the school with a bloody Zune.

(I'm on the newspaper staff, and ALL they use are Apple Macs and I love my PC and I bicker with them ... a lot.. mainly out of frustration that PS CS2 takes like 10 minutes to bloody boot up on the ****ty mac they "allow" me to touch...<_____<)

So, I start to tinker with it to find out who it was, so I started sending them a random song.

"Woah, whats happening?!"

Is what I hear

"Does someone have a Zune!?"

I raise my big black brick into the air

"Awwh, Sean! Dude you got a Zune!"

It was my buddy, Hunter.. he had a white brick... or skin.. I dunno...

We talked during halftime, song the only part of that "Ebony and Ivory" song that we knew, mocked people who had ipods and tried to send another song.. but we got frustrated cause it froze and we were like 2 feet from each other... And deducted that his Zune was TOTALLY racist <___<

When the game started I returned to my seat... and after the game ended we returned to our respective social circles.

...Yeah, its wasn't the most feel good story. But I shared a moment of nostalgia with an old friend thanks to my Zune.
