Got any stories that disgrace/shames the iPod?

well ill start
i was with my dad one day at the mac gallery by where we live and i brought my zune inside so i could finish watching Eurotrip

suddenly a man walked over to me and looked at me in awe and asked me what i was in my hand (zune)

so i told him what it was and he grabbed a few of his buddies to look at my zune80 in all its glory

i started talking to them showing them all the stuff the zune did

taking extra care to emphasize all the things the zune had that the iPod didnt

they were especially interested in the WiFi sharing capabilities

so one of the guys asked an employee if the iPod had wifi sharing and when the employee said no the guy immediatly walked away and asked me where he and his budies could get zunes

by that time the manager had seen what was going on and told me that i needed to leave

so im not aloowed in the mac gallery in La Quinta, CA

Good story, i haven't had any story like that
except, at this fair/concert thing, i went to see the concert, there was this guy who had to search everyone, and i took out my zune with the rest of my stuff, he asked me what it was, then he took a look. and said "oh, that's the good one, take care of it"
Not as good as yours, but it's still ok

a conversation I had with an apple adict

him- no one would want a zune it has no outstanding features

me-wifi kicks ass

him- but it's not practical, how many people do you know with zunes

me- 5 and any day I could meet one of the other Million plus owners

him- but there is no point to it having wifi

me- so wifi isn't popular that's why the new ipod touches are getting integrated wifi

him-(shuts up and walks away)

I dont really have one, but i have convinced over 3 dozen kids in my school to get a zune, and only one doesn't have one yet (he's getting an 80 gig.)

Well I don't have any stories that really shame iPods too much, but all of my friends who have them have been really impressed by my Zune, and the two who recently bought iPods both said "Damn, I should have gotten one of these instead!" And I practically had to steal it back from my friend Melissa, she was amazed by all of my videos

I was showing a co-worker pictures of my kids on my Zune 30. She said: "That's not an iPod, what is it?"

Me: "It's a Microsoft Zune."

Her: "Do you like it? I'm sick of iPods. I've had three in as many years, and they keep breaking on me! I want something different that's a little more durable."

Me: "Well, this is over a year old, and as you can see, it still looks good as new. Oh, and it still works."

Her: "Yeah, that's a nice case you have on it."

Me: "That's not a case. It's just the player's casing itself. It looks like that because of a process called "double-shot." It's VERY scratch resistant, which is why it still looks new. Unlike what you might've noticed with your iPods, your fingernails alone won't scratch this!"

Her: "Yeah; I'm going to look into those when I get home."

On another instance, I was sitting next to a flight attendant dead-heading somewhere. she'd noticed I'd been watching movies on my Zune 30 the whole flight, so as we passed 10k feet and I had to put it away...

"Is that an iPod?"

Me: "No it's a Microsoft Zune."

Her: "Oh, you can put movies on it?!"

Me: "Yes. If you have a newer iPod, you can put movies on it as well."

Her: "Yes, but that has a nice, big screen."

Me: "Yes. Yes it does."

Lucky I got my zune now, but using my ipod with zune earbuds disgraced it.

I just did something very mean and jerkish... I wasn't really thinking :/

I smashed the corner of my Zune on the metal part of my friends iPod.

She got pissed cause it left a lil dent.

I was immediately regretful of my actions.. but smiled non the less at the damage.

My Zune of course was unscratched.

heres mine..

my first mp3 was the first black ipod nano..
as soon as i bought it...i went back to my car took it out..and set it on the passenger seat...
as i was driving i hit the brakes and the ipod slid of of the seat into the floor...i picked it up and it had a BIG ASS scratch along the back mirror part..from just a little fall..

i have had my zune 30 since last may..and i have dropped it multiple times and it has no scratches..
apple pwned again..

Ok, sitting on the bus on a feild trip I was watching Office Space on my Zune and laughing my ass off. On of my friends with his 30G Ipod Video turns and sees the zune.

Him: WTF is that?

Me: It is a Zune 80, and it pretty much owns your Ipod

So he looks over and starts watching the video in awe at the near HD quality of the massive screen. When the movie was over, he pulled out his Ipod and looked at it completely dissatisfied by how much it sucks.
