Default great support?

I think not. If you have replied to my previous threads, I have been having trouble with reverse syncing. Well, today, again, I called in hopes of getting it fixed. Completely irritated with my Zune continuously messing up, not reverse syncing, and then it would freeze up and shut down when changing songs and everything else; they told me to take one by one, each song and drag to the little monitor. Yes, this worked, but I have all of the 3 Doors Down albums and dragged them to the monitor, and nothing happened. After doing this, nothing would sync and they wanted me to restart my zune (putting hold on, and then press and hold down the up arrow and back button).

Now, I've been with Zune since they first released them. I paid roughly about $300 for one, and seeing how I've been through three, I'm finally putting my foot down and saying if I've paid that much for it, it shouldn't be doing this. Understandable, right? Well, Zune would not do anything about it. They insist on me sending it in, and losing everything on my Zune. I told them several times, having to repeat myself, that I had to replace my old laptop, with my whole music collection on it, and get a new laptop. Reverse syncing would back up my music collection, having no problem if it needed to be sent in. They will not send me a new Zune, after having to replace two, now three of my Zunes.

Needless to say, I now have to send in my Zune again and more than likely have all of my 1700 songs deleted and have to redownload everything again. I asked them if they could at least get me about a year subscription for Zune, to download videos, music, whatever. Well, the supervisor kindly informed me this was impossible because Microsoft does not give away any rebates or anything like that-- However, free trials are certainly possible. This is just absolutely rediculous and no long will I put up with this. I am severly disappointed in my zune and I will NOT be recommending it to anyone, after recommending my friends. I always get questions asking if I like my zune. I kindly reply, "I love my Zune!; Better than an ipod!". Well, now my friends, I am sadly going to ipod after a severe disappointment from zune and the microsoft corporation. I do not recommend Zune to anyone. Your best bet is going with ipod. In all honesty, I've never heard anything bad from ipod, or apple alone.

Good luck,
Justin

Sorry to hear about this experience. Remember to check up on your thread, did you forget about it?

Sorry to hear that, but if you think Zune is unreliable, look at iPods.

Two iPod touches have caught on fire
Users on this forum have said plugging their iPod into a PS2 To charge it broke it
Someone at school said that he UPDATED his iPod and it broke
Someone here dropped their iPod in the snow and it died(not sure when, but it was there all winter), yet someone here had a Zune in the snow and ran over by a car and it lived

iPods are WAY less reliable, so I suggest to just keep the Zune. My Zune is great and I've seen no problems with it so far, and I've had it since around August I think...

yeah, I do see your guys' point. But like I said, this is my 4th zune now, and the fact that they didn't seem to care about my experiences, nor did they do anything about it. Do not get me wrong, I did love my zune. It was the best thing ever. I was with them since they first came out paid like $300 for it, but now after going through all of this, having it replaced, losing $1700 of songs- all they have to say is well we apologize and do not even do anything about it. They give free trials out like crazy but certainly not at least 6 months free, or any rebates or anything. Give me a break!

First of all the Zune started at $250.

If you had that much money in music, you should have had backups.
