Cool first generation.

i have a first generation zune and i think its really cool how microsoft creates the updates for 1st gen zunes.

ive had it for a LONG time now... and its nice.
but i hope that they come up with something new for zune instead of trying to drag behind ipod.

yeeeeeeeeeeeah

How about the ability to connect to the Zune Marketplace through any accessable Wi-Fi Internet connection and stream or download music directly?

Microsoft should leverage the Zune subscription model. They should wring every drop of iPod-killing goodness out of it that they can.

OH WAIT!
i just had another idea.

say... a device that connects to the zune that allows you to record directly to your internal library, and then from there you can sync it to your computer.
:]

It deffinetly should take advantage of its wifi capability, viewing email anywhere there is wifi is important, and i would much rather do it on my zune than crack open my laptop.

I got it after the new Zunes came out, but mine was free so I can't complain. I never used the old firmware much because I just updated to the most recent so as to not get attached.

yea being able to acces, even if only to view emails would be great, or to be able to access basic web pages through it, granted there would be limited capabilities, or to be able to use your zune as a wireless network storage, that would be awesome
