I must say, the Zune photographs really really well.

Why is that? Is it the material, is it the screen? It seems like almost every photo of the big Z could be a PR shot.

I think it photographs well becuase of the simplicity in design and the non shiny surface, as well as the double shot.

It's a very sleek device.

They are very good technically (their range seems to be pretty even) with maybe a slight bias to bass. They tend to be "fun" headphones and are generally less cynical that something like the equally-priced Etymotics.

Aside from all the Audiophile speak, they sound great (but at the cost you would expect that) and, for me, it is extremely comfortable (i honestly cant wear normal earbuds).
Look at some of the stuff from ultimate ears, from what ive heard they seem to sound just as good for less cost (although this is not my opinion, as i have not personally tested them).
If you can, go in and test each earphone yourself as certain headphones may sound better to you and may 'favour' some forms of music better.

Oh, and HeadRoom love 'em: http://www.headphone.com/products/he.../shure-e4c.php

It does pretty much go all the way, it all depends on your ear really. As long as you can get a seal (thats easy to tell simply by the bass response) its enough.
It doesnt hurt at all (especially considering that after wearing normal earbuds for about 10 minutes my ears get sore).
It may get a bit waxy and thats about it :P (and thats easily solved through hygienic practices)

Any requests?

Well, got mine today, so I can finally add something of value to these forums. I'll start off with some pics of my Zune and the 9v battery charger I made for it (I'll post some info about the charger as well in case anyone is interested):
