hewlett2002000 is on a distinguished road
Default well my zune is dead...

well i was in the shop and had my zune 80 running through the aux in on the radio and it just quit playing music. when i looked at it, it was going through all the music and when it would try to play them it would say that it was not found or unplayable. i reset it using back+up and it dident come back on. i had other things to do so i left it there. when i got back it had the please wait grey and black screen frozen there. it is still there. i let the battery drain and then plug it in and no change. just goes right back to the please wait screen. so i guess the hd went bad. its been making a clicking for a while now. sounds like a good reason to upgrade to a zune hd huh? lol

i might change out and upgrade the hd in this one at a later date though. i just wish the zune hd had more storage. maybe i need two? lol

theguywholoveszunehd will become famous soon enough
Default

Same happened to me before mine was lost. Try using the delete everything and firmware combo (i cant remember it). Then sync it with your Software. It will reinstall the firmware, and sync all your stuff back!
