Zune Software to Have (or Have Had) Internet Radio?
Looks like some more information is being dug out of the Zune Software source code. Apparently, Rafael Rivera of
WithinWindows has hacked up the code and found a gem of a find. There is (or was) plans to include internet radio inside the Zune Software!
However, if you think about it, wouldn't it take away from the use of the Zune Pass and/or duplicate streaming over the web anyways? I dunno if we'll see this, but it's definitely worth noting...

Nice that would be cool plus they are bringing last fm to the xbox 360 soon so maybe it will have something to do with the xbox and zune integration updates.

Read this post. You have to enable it. But its very buggy, and none of the default streams will play.

Yeah,
there's the registry way that I found q lil while ago now. Rafael Riveria from WithinWindows has also got to work through actually hacking the DDL's and forcing it to show. His way is more complicated but does have a couple of small advantages, though right now he hasn't released the hack.

I hope to god they include internet radio support on the zune firmware.
I mostly just listen to
Digitally Imported - Addictive Electronic Music , and I usually only listen to my collection when I'm out and about or want to listen to a specific album.

I know this may sound retarded but okay so I get it to open when I start it but issue is, none of the radio stations show up can you help me?

I don't think it would take away from anything on the Zune Pass because it's no different than the FM radio feature on the device. It actually allows for more music discovery especially if you can click whatever song is playing and find it in the marketplace.

No, iTunes still does. I don't use it as often because I listen with the Zune software most of the time.
