I live in Vegas (I go to college here) and I wasn't planning on buying the Zune HD off the bat, but after seeing everything it heightened my interest. So I went out to get one.
I went to Best Buy, Target, and Frys, and they were all sold out of Zune HDs 32gb. There were plenty of 16gb, but I couldn't find 32gb. I gave up.
I never really had the money in the first place, so I guess I'll just have to wait. But for reference sakes, the Zune HDs are getting sold out! Looks like Microsoft hit a home run!
(I will get the Zune HD soon I hope. All this excitement is killing me and I want to develop for it as soon as possible. I'm hoping they release a 64gb. If/When that happens I should have enough money to buy it)
The Zune HD isn't ONLY selling out in vegas. All local Best Buys have NO Zune 32 in stock. Several of them still have a few 16's. I'm glad they are selling but most stores only recieved 5 for launch day. I pre-ordered one and can't get one untill they recieve a few more. Pisses me off for that reason.
What's the point of pre-ordering it if they have none for me....

It really bumbs me out. I asked and checked online when they expect more 32gb and they said OCTOBER 14! Geeze! I might just get a zune original and ship it in.

I just wish the economy was doing better because it's one reason a few friends of mine haven't picked one up.
That being said it's still hard to find the 32G version in my neck of Northern California. I had to drive 40 minutes to pick mine up last week...WELL worth it.

Im sure there will be more stock everywhere after a while. Same "sold out" thing happened with the Zune 80
