Default New Zune Software?
I think it was announced by Microsoft, but isn't there new software coming out to coincide with the Zune HD? If there is, what do you think Microsoft's plans are?

One feature I am really hoping for is Mac Zune software.

afaik mac support is not something MS is working on right now

but there will be a software update that coincides, we just dont know the date

it should be on or before the 8th of Sept. it will include Movie downloads/rentals......hopefully. other than that, i am not sure what else will be available. i really hope there is an option for adding cover art for Movies/videos....other than that, i dont care what it comes with...i am just pumped for the ZHD release.

all u have to do is run a windows xp or vista bootloader on ur mac so it runs windows

I can't imagine it woud be called 4.0. Unless they do a major overhaul. 3.6? Should just be a a update to the marketplace side mostly right?

On the back of the Zune HD reservation cards, it says that the Zune Software 4.0 is required.

It'll be 4.0 because it's a major overhaul. We never got our spring update so they must have been working pretty hard on it to not give us one. Can't wait.
