Future Shop / Canada Marketplace?

I live in Canada. I was visiting futureshop.ca and saw a deal for a free $30 song card when you buy a Zune. Click here for the link.

This has a Microsoft logo on it, and it is a deal that works when you buy a Zune only, but it still doesn't specify exactly that these songs are coming from the Zune Marketplace.

Does anyone how this deal works, since the Zune Marketplace is still not available in Canada (even though they said it would be available by the end of 2008)?

Maybe its a sign that the Marketplace is coming to Canada (well not 'coming' since this deal is available right now and the cards expire on April 1st, 2009).

well the zune was rumored to be going to the UK this year so im assuming that they will finally bring market place support to Canadians

actually it was in response to your last statement in the OP

and if i remember correctly Canadians can buy anything from the zune marketplace as of now. although i could be wrong seeing as i dont live in canada and i have never tried it

It is Confirmed. My Friend bought an album with his MS Points.

and it was using one of the cards mentioned in the OP?

No but He bought it with MS points and before when he tried it did not work but he tried again after the New Year and it worked so the Card should work as well.
