"Greatest Hits" Feature
A great feature in a future Zune software release would be a "Greatest Hits" feature for individual artists. It could either be a separate tab after songs and playlists unto its own or else it could be just something akin to the "heart" ratings.
I just don't want to have to do a bunch of playlists that are nothing but greatest hits lists. I'd rather save playlists for other things that are mixes of many different artists.
As it is now, valuable disk space can be taken up by the same song three times if it appears on a soundtrack, individual album and a greatest hits album. Going back to the '80s, Berlin's "Take My Breath Away" was on the Top Gun soundtrack, the "Count 3 and Pray" album, and their greatest hits album. There has to be some way, such as a "greatest hits" feature for Zune, that can help cut out the need to have the same song on a disk that many times.
