My zune80 Hold switch is gone!

I recently purchased a zune80 off eBay, but I purchased it without the hold switch.

I figured I'd be able to stick a paper clip in and be able to manually just switch it off, but every time I do that it will be off for a couple minutes, then all the sudden it will switch back to hold again.

I'm considering just pouring super glue in the little hole so it wont slide back and forth, since I never use the hold function.

But I figured I'd post here before I go ahead and do something drastic.

What do you recommend? Has anyone else had this problem?
Is there anything I can do, or stick in there to make it not switch back on?

hmm.. take apart your zune and see what can you do to it?

I bet you'll want to use the hold feature eventually.

zune without hold switch?.... damn that like leaving your door open ....except people don't come bargain in song keeps switching....

he purchased it without a hold switch. which means he knew tat there wasn't one.

why would you even purchase a zune without a hold switch?

i don't think i can help you without seeing a picture of the top of your zune.
