Default [SOLVED] Zune 30s Failing Everywhere? [Hrm??]

Is it strange coincidence or what? But a ton of Zune 30 owners are flooding the net searching for what's going on with their Zune 30s. About midnight last night, the Zunes would be stuck in the boot screen and wouldn't boot. While there are conspiracy theories a plenty, could there be some real reason to this? Let us know if you've had this same issue.

Mine is stuck too! Every 30GB has crashed. Could it be due to the fact this was a leap year and today is supposed to be Jan 1?

I found a "fix", but afraid to try it. Zune.net

.in the same boat as u all .just happend about 4hrs ago .it froze in the middle of playing music =/

both my red 30gb and my black 30gb are frozen then my red one finally died and when i plugged it in it showed the plug on the screen for about 30 minutes and then started booting again and froze

I'm having the same problem. I leave it on until it runs out of power, then plug it in until it charges enough to boot, and the same thing happens all over again.

A better question is whether anybody has a Zune 30 that still works.

god f*cking damnit it ran outta power so i charged it again but when you connect to the pc it freazes again

I got out of work this morning and turned it on and stuck on the loading screen. This sucks hope a fix is in the works.

I'm in Massachusetts and woke up this a.m to a stuck zune
And I'm the one in the family who insisted to my kids that they should not ipod and zune instead...egg on my face!

If it is due to the date I don't see how this could be only with the 30's, although I know it is because my 80 is working just fine? Hmm?

yes my brown zune 30 also froze today while playing music and will not load. Came here to see how to tell it to reformat, but it seems like this is a bigger issue. It sucks working with no tunes.

Was listening to my music at work when it froze. pulled it out of my pocket to see it stuck on the loading screen. I let the battery die hoping that would fix it. I charged it and it froze on the load screen again.

I downloaded a bunch of new music last nite at 11 and this morning went to turn it on and nothing but a big zune logo funny thing my husbands did the same thing this is some BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
