Default Bug Fix (possibly?)

You may be one of those who have had that annoying freezing/crashing when switching songs on the Zune device. If so, I've come across a possible fix. (If you have that freezing counter when playing music see HERE for a possible fix on that)

Simply restore the default background on the device (go to settings > display > and select the default background).

Let me know if this works (vote above). I've already heard a couple people saying it does.

While not having your custom background is a bit annoying, hopefully the Zune Team releases a fix soon. Until then, what are ya gonna do? Play and Freeze or have no custom background for a while?

Is there any way to make the zune recognize any picture as the default picture? because that would kick ass.

Fixed all of my problems. My Zune hasn't locked up since yesterday afternoon. I restored the background and I pressed 'Install games' as recommended in another thread. I'm not sure which did the trick, though. It's still pretty ridiculous .
