see i got a 120GB zune i love it, but my freind showed me his ipod touch and im thinking of returning my zune and buy a ipod touch, so witch one should i get and whats the big deiffrences of them?

You will have to decide on how much of a user you are. If you have 4 gigs of music now and don't get new stuff that often, then i'd buy a 16 gb or if you are going to go all out, a 32 gb touch. There you will have plenty of room to fill it up. But if you want to put whole series of tv shows, movies, all your music and plan to keep getting heaps more etc... then stick with the zune.

Also depends what you want to do with your device. If you solely want to play music, videos with the occaisional game or 2, and wanna be part of the social, stick with the zune. I find the touch is great for extra stuff like web browsing and you tube and apps and games. Its also a very sexy piece of hardware .. and software too. Yes the zune software is prettier, but gosh that touch is a delight!

Zune: Good for quantity of music and pictures
Ipod Touch: Good for the fun factor of touching, being able to do more with it (ie browsing, youtube, games, applications), pure gorgeousness!

Im quite pro-touch in this post, but then again I bought 3 zunes... 2 80's and an 8. I should have gotten an 80 and a touch, but im happy with my decision

well if you buy a ipod touch then you are going to have to stock up on windex to get all the fingerprint smuges off of the back. DO YOU REALLY WANT TO HAVE TO SPEND MONEY ON WINDEX!!!!!!!
if not then buy a zune

then if you buy an ipod touch you will be a bigger target for thieves and you really don't want to get robbed at gunpoint... do you?

I'm constantly having to defend my Zune from attacks from friends saying it isn't as good as the Touch. The thing is is that you can't really compare the two. The Touch is more like a mobile computer and the Zune is a mobile multimedia device. It really is an apples to oranges argument.

Other than the Touch Apple's mobile devices just don't look that good to me. The new Nanos look cheap and the Classic looks like the designer got bored and stopped halfway through. I love my sexy stealth black Zune.

Despite being on zune forums, I would have to say go with the ipod touch. I really consider the touch in a completely different category as zunes. Its like a mini-computer. If the question was iPod 160gb or Zune 120gb, I'd say go with Zune, but the Touch is so much more powerful than any Zune so go with that.

I was in class @ UMass earlier this week, and 4 or 5 kids were in a corner of the room, comparing their iTouches...and I have the sole Zune in, I think, New England

if you have lots of music get the 120, if you do have lots of music but dont mind the small memory def go with the touch (and if you can afford it) cause the touch has tons more features and innovativeness than the 120. the touch is a hands down win for features, and you'll probably never get bored of the touch haha

I think it all depends on how much stuff you have and want to carry with you. I couldn't imagine not having 120GB of room. As it is, I have to pick and choose what I put on the Zune. The Touch is a beautiful device, my son has one, but I won't spend $100 more than the Zune 120 for one-quarter the space.

If you just have a little music, you might want to think about the Touch. If you like having all the music, movies, custom games, etc. stick with the Zune.
