Thumbs up A new look at Zune pass.

Ok, after 2 years of down right refusing to get a Zune pass, i caved because of this new update. So far i've been downloading music like crazy. Checking out stuff i've been wanting to hear. And i've come to think that, this pass is really not bad. If i find somthing i really like alot, I can buy the cd to have as hard copy. So sure i'm spending more money but i still can own my own music. And all for the price of one cd a month. I just wish channels worked right. I get the channels folder in my Zune but, no items show up in it. Instead its all in my music folder. Anyways i'm really enjoying this new update even more now. A big thank you to alot of you guys for your thoughts about the Zune pass.

I really like mine.
But when I get music, the Zune pass music is just a large list of music I want to 'obtain' in high quality later

Quite a few actually, but Zune Pass is the only one integrated into the Zune, naturally.

This is exactly what I've been thinking the past couple days. Especially now, with all the recently added features that enhance the Zune Pass, the Zune Pass has never looked this interesting. Sure there's "alternatives" that may even be legal, but do they give me personalized content such as Channels, Picks, and MixView, based on my own listening habits? I think not, and I think the Zune Team went out of their way to give us Zune Pass owners a little more value to those $15 every month...

I like Zune Pass (and Have liked it before the update) because of the money it saves me. I can fully vet an album before I buy it. Often I will buy a band's CD because of past history, only to find out their new CD is awful. Other times I would buy an album based on one or two songs that sounded good, and I might like it for a while but after a month I am sick of it, other times It is good enough to keep and I listen to from time to time. Zune pass keeps form buying albums that are flat out awful or that are just passing fancies.

ZunePass is so easy and cheap that I almost feel that I'm doing something wrong/illegal when I use it lol....I used to ahem, borrow, music but for $5/month (shared) it's not even worth the effort to correct metadata, add album art, etc.

Being the ZuneBroker with ZunePasses is working out well for me - I have 6 accounts going for 17 friends, who pay me $6/month upfront for a year so not only do I make profit, I get an intrest free loan !

When the Marketplace & Zune Pass get opened up to Canadians, I'll jump on it - I was going to do this right when I bought my Zune, but then found out I'm ineligible.
