Default Very weird thing happened.....

So I am not sure what happened exactly but the other day I loaded up the Zune Software and plugged in my Zune and it for some reason for the first time had an issue with the software recognize it being connected...so after several tries it finally worked... and I have around 7k songs so far on my zune and out of nowhere without explanation or reason (known to me at least) it just started to delete about one or two thousand songs....it took me a few mintues to realize and so it got about 1400 or so off and I clicked "stop sync" and I have NO idea how this happened and was maybe wondering if there was an idea as to why this would happen?

So today I open it and it's working fine, detected zune easy as always, and even re-synced all of the ones it deleted....does anyone have an explanation?!?!?!

ROFL!!

Hey, Veetus, use Google or your favorite search engine and look it up. Just copy and paste. Not trying to be cute or anything. Just helpful.

Something similar has happened to me like that. I store all my music (30,000+) on my home server and have my Zune software installed on my laptop. I have a mapped network drive that connects to my music share. Sometimes the Zune software doesn't see my music library for some reason and when I connect my Zune, songs start deleting. I did find however, that if I open the drive first, then my Zune software, the issue does not occur. Don't know if this helps, so good luck.

it must have somehow not recognized your music folder, and started deleting your songs thinking you had removed them from your folder.
