Default My Fedex guy sucks...

I was watching TV this morning, and I checked online and found out my Zune Original is in a Fedex car being delivered to my home.

So I was excited, I kept watching tv and then all of a sudden I heard the fedex car engine starting, I turned around (Theres a window behind me) and I see the fedex guy leaving.

So I was like "okay, he must of left my zune at door" But no he left the door order thing saying they will come the next day.

So now iam like wtf he didnt ring the bell or knocked on the door but just left...so now I have to wait until tommorow and watch outside the window so he wont just leave again...

I remember waiting and waiting for my first computer to get delivered and it was "being delivered" for about 4 days

Haha, the same thing has happened to me twice, and my friend. Fedex ppl apparently don't like giving you packages in person, for me they show up the second I leave my house, or go to the bathroom. i swear it's like a game for them or something. lol.

I have to deal with people from shipping services all the time at work. Typically depends on the person, but being a delivery man is typically not a very sociable job

...For some reason I can see myself running after the fedex guy in his fedex car while he keeps saying "Go away!, Ahh! Iam not going to deliver your damn package!"

Yeah, that's happened to me before too. You think that ringing the doorbell would be a lot less effort than writing out a door tag, but apparently not...

Fedex is not the only one... UPS is even worst. They charge so much for the custom fee, it's ridiculous and they even manage to separate 2 boxes from the same shipping...

Could be worse...
I go to school about 2 miles away from home.
When I heard my zune was going to be delivered that day I decided I would RUN home with my like 20 pound backpack just to save 5ish minutes compared to taking the bus. So after I run all the way home (im talking run. not jog) I get home exhausted, so I take my zune upstairs and I slowly open it. All dramatic and the like. And I pull it out. Beautiful! Press the power button and KA ZAM! The screen lights up in a million different colors with cracks in every direction! Kinda like this:

You don't even know how mad I was...
No visible damage at all!
The outside of the box was a little beat up but it was packaged in like 5 boxes!

Never late, fast, and knocks at my door 5 times before leaving.

FedEx has spent a lot of money in the past in order to make their drivers the most efficient in the business. All of their drivers walk to the same cadence, with the same spacing between steps. The drivers do not use doorbells under any circumstance.

I used to be a receiving clerk and we had a FedEx shipment daily. Our usual driver and I became good friends. He gave me all kinds of info on the inside workings of FedEx.

If you ever see the opening scenes from the movie "Cast Away," where Tom Hanks is lecturing the Russians about the importance of time, that speech could be recited by any FedEx employee.

Last time I got a FedEx package he rang the door bell and gave it to me personally. That was a while back since I usually get UPS deliveries. Now my UPS guy doesn't wait on people. He rigs the doorbell, puts the package in front of the door on the floor, and leaves. Kinda scared when I'm not there to get it right away as it might get stolen....

yeah, but my ups guy is hardcore.
even I didn't see the package he delivered until a few hours after the normal delivery time, when i checked wondering why I hadn't gotten anything.

I looked out the front door, then noticed as i went to close it that he turned the wicker footstoo-esque thing on the porch on it's side (it's about 3 feet long and wide, looked like the wind turned it over), crooked so it couldn't be seen at an angle, and put the package behind it.
