Default Zune premium headphone replacement


I am just wondering, but like with the zune 30, can zune 80 users recieve free premium headphones, or just the basic, cause i really like my zune premium headphones. but the nylon is unravling and the headphones are starting to fall apart, so i want to know if i can get a free pair from microsoft or just have to buy more.

They replace them for free, but sometimes you have to send the old premium earbuds back.

Well people that get Zune 80s are only supposed to get premium headphones... Zune 30s come with normal ones.

so your saying i can call and get replacements, and i doubt they would make you send the old ones back as there is a reason you are replacing them. Ok well i guess ill call zune a little later and talk to one of the guys there

ok, i don't know if im retarded, or is there no number anywhere on the zune site to call for support.

I looked through my manual and the other booklet thingy that came with my zune... yes i still have it., and i didn't see anything either

If anyone knows that number...... that would be nice.

My right ear bud stopped working, so last week I called and after about 15mins on the phone I got new ones in 5 days brand new ones in the box. didn't have to send in the old 1s either

well im on thee phone now getting a replacement, and they do want quite a bit of info, things like s/n number, condition of the device, things like that. Phone number too. It took about 15 mins, not too bad, but im always nervous of giving my personal info over then phone.

Well just gotta wait a few days now.


P.S.

my headphones wern't actually broken, so i had to make up a story about the problem. I said something like they were sometimes working but sometimes the audio went in and out and i also said when she asked why i thought it was, i told her cause they were worn.

I thought it was funny they would believe something you just told them over the phone like is the sn removed or have you opened the device.

ima get a replacement pair too, the casing on mine was ripped when i got them but i didnt think they replaced heaphones

ya the longest part is Registering ur Zune, My were actually broke so i just told them i couldnt hear anything from the right earbub and she just asked did u check to see if it was plugged in all the way.

I miss my zune headphones...they were so durable, they still worked for many months after being dragged down ford road at about 60 miles per hour....


I'd get replacements, but i honestly really hate talking on phones...

Ok just for anyone asking. They sent me the actual zune premium headphones you buy... like the 50$ ones. Also. Already the new ones are having the same issue. the cable is coming out of the nylon. EXTREMELY IRRITATING! These headphones are awesome, but the nylon idea is CRA*!

P.S. Not only did they come with extra tips, but a little bag and a strechy clip for storage

Hey everyone, sorry to bring up a somewhat old thread, but my premium headphones aren't working and I'm trying to get them replaced. How did the people here go about that? I'm trying to navigate through the terrible voice activated menus on the 1-877-Get-Zune number, but have no idea where to go. Any help would be great, thanks.
