Question about Zune UI

Hey guys- I picked up a Zune 80gb today, finally got enough cash for one of these bad boys, and i'm extremely satisfied

MUCH better than an Ipod could ever be, can't wait to show off the much better features to my Apple fanboy buds

But anyway, let's cut to the point here- I was wandering... When i go to music, then artists, and then pick a band of my choice, is there any way i can view a list of all the songs by that particular artist instead of looking at a list of all the albums? In other words, i want to view all songs performed by the artist instead of all albums when i click on them. I'd appreciate any help, thanks!

Unfortunately, i'm not sure that's possible. i had been wondering the same thing and never found a solution.

ahh ok. Yeah, i had a run- of- the- mill 1gb mp3 player before i purchased the Zune. It wasn't anything fancy, just had the artists then a list of their songs. So i'm still kinda used to that... plus i'm not too good with albums anyway... seeing as to how the majority of my songs come from mp3rocket and limewire i've only got a couple of songs per album.. :/

AFAIK the only way is to either add everything from an artist to the quick list and view the songs there, or to select Play All, press the center key, and select show song list.

Make sure to try some games, like SIR TET, the Tetris clone.

Ok, i'll try getitng into the habit of doing that, and yeah i need some more Zune games

I guess as a compromise you could make AutoPlaylists in the software for your Favourite artists that'll pick up all their music for you.

On the device, Settings > Music (or audio, cant remember) and change it from Album & Artist to just Artist and it will just show tracks by the artist instead of artist > album > track

It changes it for me, I don't know if thats just me though. I never see albums when I sort by artist on my 30 at least. I havnt tried on my 80.
