Default Just a quick question...

I was wondering if any of you guys know whether or not the video quality on the zune would be better if you set the video to sync for your tv. I know i could test this out myself, but... im lazy. i'll probably try it like next month or something.

Um, the Zune doesn't sync to TVs, only PCs...

If you mean outputting the video to TVs, I think it outputs at 640x480, which is greater than 320x240 by the ZUne, but I'm not completely sure

I was looking on CNET and they have this post.
It doesn't exactly tell you what you want but it'll show you.

Hmm the video makes it look quite nifty.. Although my experience with TV out on the zune has been not so exceptional.. The quality wasn't that great because it had to stretch the image.. I suppose it would be possible to convert the video file to be displayed in a larger aspect ratio, but then it would look terrible if it was ever watched on the zune alone.

fixed

HD is impossible on a 320x240 screen by definition. Plus the Zune doesn't record from inputs or even have any (AV) inputs, so it'd be completely useless with current firmware

i think if you use some converting software..you can stretch the image so it will look better on your tv

I have no clue what you're asking, but possibly, though probably not related, I've watched my zune videos on a big screen tv through my xbox 360 before. they looked. okay.
