Default Nvidia's CUDA coming to x86 to Ncode HD Videos

For people who use nVidia's GFX Cards from the 8 series and up, Nvidia is releasing a new technology to utilize their graphics power to encode videos.
That means you can convert high definition videos from your pc to your zune in a matter of minutes:

i'm glad nvidia is killing ATI now days. as well as intel is OWNING amd in the face. i'm completely glad for both companies. HOPEFULLY this wont lead to a shorter battery life due to HD movies?

That's what I have. I'd love to see my 8800GTX tear through a HD movie

LOL.. looks like ATI's owning Nvidia right now with its ati 4xxx cards. AMD is owning Intel in the low end and middle end range of CPU. Intel is only owning AMD in the super expensive cpu area where almost nobody can afford it. Intel does own AMD in the laptop processor area though.

I think nVidia still holds a more powerful card with its GT280. ATi just caught up, that's all.

The GTX 280 may be a more powerful card, but ATI's top-end card is only 2/3 the price.
