Potential ZuneBox 360 to launch in 2009?

Is 2009 the year Microsoft finally enters the handheld gaming sector? T3 seem to think so. In the latest issue of the UK gadget publication, the staff heavily speculate that Microsoft will launch it's handheld gaming/media device (including artist impressions) sometime next year. With Microsoft already owning mobile phone companies, its rumoured that the device will feature all kinds of multimedia applications including gaming, tele-comunication and wireless internet access.

Wow, I'd love something like that. I'm expected just a beefed up zune with gaming capacity's that can match other handheld gaming systems.

Wow, if they're going to come up with a mock-up, can they please make it not hideous? Anyway, I doubt it'll happen.

It'd be kinda cool to see an Xbox handheld, if it was done right (and im sure the xbox team could pull it off real nice)
But it'd be a shame if they tainted the Xbox "brand" with the "Zune" name,

I love my 80 gig, its orphaned my ipod touch ATM, but the decision to call their entry into a monopolized, picky market a "Zune" was, in my opinion, a terrible call :P. The Xbox name is much more of a success, and should definatly assimilate the Zune if a merge was to ever happen. (How come people NEVER look to the 360 when they knock Microsoft for not innovating??)
