I just found this on Giveaway of the Day, it's Xilisoft Video Converter, it normally sells for $35 but for the next few hours they're giving it away free at that site. Here's the link to the giveaway page GOTD.

You need to download this is a hurry because it will only last a few more hours.

So its just a free trial right? Tons of converters give out free trials, what makes this one so special?

Actually, I believe this is the actual software, not a trial version or else there would be no reason to even give it away on the site.

it's trial, i just downloaded it and it says "unregistered" and say will only convert 5 minutes of video

You have to register first, open the read me text and they give you a registering name and key. Then it should convert the whole file.

have you tried turning your firewall off while you install it. because mine didn't let me install it intil i turned it off.

DONT Bother total waste of time. Only converts first 5mins, lets face it, wot use is that?

Did you register it?
If you didn't that would explain why it doesn't convert the whole file.
Try converting something and it will ask you to register it, then open up the folder where the install package came in and open the read me file, put in the registration name and registration key and it should convert the whole file now, not just 5 minutes.
