THE ZUNE HAS LANDED

The zune has finally touched down in Canada, both futureshop and bestbuy have them advertised in their weekly Friday flyers, although I prefer the futureshop ad more, what do you guys think?

I plan on checking out the display tomorrow, maybe I�ll pick up a zunepass for videos.

All our ad has is Zune 4/8's.

Meh, i'm suspecting zune actually does better in Canada than in the US... at least I sure hope it does. Zune needs to get a firm foothold somewhere.The ads look great though

I'm with you on that, only time will tell though. I�m sure ms has some stuff in the works in terms of advertising, the biggest parade in North America is coming up in august, caribana with over 100.000 people from all over the globe, that would be a good place to get the word out as well.

It seems like their putting more effort into advertising the Zune Pass than the actual devices here. I see their ad on MTV every commercial break. I guess they figure if people get the Zune Pass, they'll most likely have to get a Zune...

I have't seen a commercial as yet, maybe if i watch more tv i would, the zune pass is a great idea, not for music for me though, i love owning a solid copy of my stuff but geting a zune pass for video downloads is what i need.

Wal-Mart Canada also carries the Zune now. I just picked up a red 80GB from one location in Calgary.

They really need to bring the Zune Pass the Canada, I really need more music to explore. As for the ads, their doing a great job for advertising. I haven't seen any commercials yet so only time will tell. And another thing, that's the same flyers that I got and I live in Montreal. I mean I would have thought they would have made something different between them. the great thing about the flyer is that for the future shop, the Zunes are right next to the iPods and for the Bestbuy, Their on a completely different page for father's day and they take up only like a quarter of the page.

Nice! Thats great that Canada is finally getting the Zunes. It's a great player, and I'm glad that Best Buy has helped by making an attractive ad.

But as for the accessories, I don't think paying $30-$40 for a case is right. I got a silicon case (fits nicely and protects my Zune 80g) for $1 on Ebay! Plus screen protectors, a lanyard, arm running band and belt clip! It was the deal of a lifetime. Sure the products main packaging was in Chinese, but hey, a deal for me!
