Default How much did you pay for your Zune?

I got mine from Target.com, which offered the 10% off with an Xbox Live Diamond card, bringing the price of the unit down to $224. But with tax and shipping, it was right back at $249. I think the majority of people here are savvy shoppers or earlier adopters, sooooooooooooo... how much was yours?

I bought my Zune 30 a year ago for MSRP+tax which came out to about 270. But I also bought a warranty, which I used on my "broken" Zune to redeem a $270 gift card which paid for the Zune 80. So I guess you can say I got an upgrade for only $40.

Just after this past Christmas a regional chain was clearing out their Zune 30's. From $199 they first cut them to $150, and then to $125. When I saw them for $125 they had one white, one black and three turds left. I got the black one. When I returned a week later there were just 2 turds left for $125. I don't know if they were reduced any more, but another week they were all gone.

About a month ago the Target store in the same town cleared out their Z30's also. I think they all sold out at $133.

This town is one of the smallest to have a Target store. Sometimes really good stuff gets put on clearance there, because there are not so many customers.

I'm going to miss the clearance specials when I move next month. I also got the Zune cable, dock and remote for about 75% off in this rural area.
So the next time you are traveling and you see a small town with a Target, be sure to stop and check out their clearance shelves.

I got my brownie 30gb for about 190 w/o tax, and it ended up being 213.xx with tax at a Wal-Mart. So much cheaper than an iPod, and better imo.

I didn't pay anything for my Zune 80, it was free. For the 30, my dad paid $250.
